First Day of School

Today Megan rode the bus to school for the first time on her first day at her new high school. She has always been able to walk to school before, so that was a new adventure for her. She is the last one picked up in the morning and the first one of the bus in the afternoon, so at least she isn't on the bus for very long. I asked her how her first day was and the only word she used to describe it was "different". Of course she knew it would be different than being in a high school with over 2100 students, but we have all had so many different things going on lately that she was a little shocked I think. Some parts were better than others, and we agreed that different isn't always a bad thing. I know she will adjust and I am glad that she did meet some nice kids today and that she had someone to eat lunch with, that helped a lot. Hopefully tomorrow will be a little easier than today, then she will have the weekend to recover and just chill. I did take pictures of her, but she said she didn't want them posted.
