I can't believe that is the end of November. It seems like this year has flown by but at the same time I am having a hard time believing that Todd has only been gone for 3 months and 20 days, it seems SO much longer than that. Keeping with the Todd being gone theme, we are still trying to figure out what in the world to do about retirement. He absolutely despises his current situation where he is stationed. I know all assignments can't be good ones, but this is ABSOLUTELY the most screwed up unit he has EVER been in and trust me, he's been in several. I miss Army life more than I thought possible and there are a lot more details we are taking into consideration. Ok, enough of that, when we finally figure this out after many discussions and headaches we will share when we are ready. :)
Chelsea had a great time in Maryland for her birthday, and since she has been home she is working a lot. She gave me a new hairstyle and colored my hair on Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for her talent!! Megan finished first trimester at school followed by the semi-formal dance and had a great time. Of course she had her school play on the 6th and 7th, the whole cast did an amazing job!! Dawn spent Thanksgiving with some family friends in Maryland and enjoyed herself very much. She is looking forward to winter break and her trip home for Christmas.
The animals are all doing well. The kittens are growing too fast and they are into everything. I have been busy working on the house as usual, still trying to reorganize some rooms and make them better (doing very well with that now). I have so much more room and rooms to do and not always the motivation or time to work on them. I have set the goal of having everything completely done before the end of the year, and I am ALMOST there and I still have all of December :) I need to start my Christmas shopping for the girls and finish getting Todd's box around so that it makes it too him before the end of the year. I will TRY to post more and put up more pics, that maybe easier since some things are calming down around here.
